An orientation programme on Vidyanjali, an initiative of the Government of India, was organised at GMHS-22C, Chandigarh. As many as 25 parents and community members attended the programme. Vidyanjali Nodal Officer, Ms. Satinder Kaur briefed the attendees about the Vidyanjali portal and encouraged them to participate in school development. They were also guided on the registration process on the Vidyanjali portal. It was clearly stated during the programme that no payment or remuneration would be given to any volunteer; however, contributors would be appreciated for their services through certificates. The School In-charge, Ms Kulwinder Kaur Nagra, also exhorted parents to actively contribute to the school through the Vidyanjali portal and share the information in their neighbourhood as well. The session concluded with a vote of thanks. Refreshments were also served.
